Be prepared to walk out!
(You could always walk back in an hour later.)

Just be prepared to do it and if they don't budge and inch, head for the door.
That one little action will be worth at least a couple hundred dollars, so think of it that way.

If a dealership list the car for $11,900 is that the price I will pay? Sorry never bought a car from a dealership. Plus looking to go get a loan from a CU.

It depends. A lot of times they will add dealer fees on top of that so use that in negotiating. Also don't forget about the TAVT in georgia now where you pay all the tax upfront instead of yearly when you register the car in your name . http://onlinemvd.dor.ga.gov/TAP/Option1.aspx#message That site will give you how much that will be and if you need to the credit union will roll this amount into your loan and cut the tax commisioner a check.

Dealers have many ways to get paid from a sale. Most are on a floor plan which is financed through a bank. Every month it is on the lot cost them more in interest. They can make money off financing from the back end. Money from insurance and extended warranty, off rebates. They always mark the price up to settle on a price for less that you will bite on..
