16-18 ft aluminum welded hull with a Mercury 60-75 hp(hi 20's mph). Easy to haul and load,operate . Great place to start IMHO
Before you jump in and spend a lot of money why don't you go out and rent one for a couple of times and see if you like it. In the long run it would be cheaper to rent then buy

I just got kayaks. Been fun... can fish... and work on getting rid of the gut.
Last weekend we were visiting family members in Pascagoula, MS; brother-in-law decided for some of us to go to the gulf and try to catch some fishes. From the moment we backed up his truck into his big ass boat, and thru the entire trip I was like "This ain't for me!!" -And the floating thing gave us some hard time dying the engine in deep waters, and the sea started getting rough and I am getting sea-sick. 🤢🤮
