Thinking of switching to a double edge razor.

How do you like the CO Bigelow cream? I was using their after shave for a while but it became nearly impossible to find.

I'm new so this is strictly my opinion on it as it's the first thing I've used besides canned gel. Not having a brush yet just using my hands it gives nice protection and glide(slickness) it leaves a slight tingle and so far I haven't seen any dry skin from using it. I'm still pretty slow when shaving so I do get some drying of the cream but that could be from not applying with a brush. Personally the scent is a little odd but the cooling sensation is nice.

When I shave with a reg razor I break out like a teenager, so I use an electric razor.. I does not shave nearly as close but does a decent job..

If I had my way I would never shave... If a man was not supposed to have hair on his face why does it sprout forth from it?

Check out Panasonic Linear shavers. With shaving cream they shave as close as blades, and almost as close dry. I've been using them for the past 6 years, will never go back to blades, I get too many ingrown hairs with blades.

Don't ya wish we had access to John Carter's "shave cream"?

LOL!

I've been thinking about ditching my Mach 5 or whatever it is to a single blade butterfly type razor.
The Mach 5 gives me razor bumps on the bottom of my neck here and there, and I've heard that straight razors are better for sensitive skin. Any one have any info on this?

When I made the switch....no more razor burn.
