Thinking of trading towards a Saiga .223

hey guys I am looking for some advice. Ive got a norinco SKS with matching numbers original stock and also the Tapco dark earth stock with scope and all the goodies. Im thinking of trading it towards the bone stock saiga in .223 something like this one http://catalog.ammodepot.com/itemdetail.php?itemnumber=G170270Z

the practical use for this rifle is going to be a hog gun.

My question for you is would I be better off sticking with the sks and 7.62x39 or the Saiga in .223? also will that model saiga accept high capacity mags?

saiga 223 :high cap would only be legal after conversion... as is, you can use 10rnder that comes with it unconverted

Correct me if I am wrong but conversion meaning the addition of american made parts? I am new to the world of semi-auto rifles.

thank you pinckneytrsp, I knew it was something like that. The problem now is I cant find anywhere that can get the saiga in .223.

Classic arms usually has the best price snd og course they are sold out.I myself would like to have 1 more when they resurface. Drop them a line they may give you a heads up on the nxt shipment. Other than that just be patient.Let me know if your lookn to do the conversion yourself.. I can forward you some other useful info.
