This Afternoons Hunt

Invited the guys who work for me to come out and close out the season with a hunt at my place this afternoon. Will have all but 3 stands full if everyone who has committed shows. Will be the 1st time in a long time that this many stands will be occupied at the same time. Excited to see what kind of movement patterns are discovered and hope some of the guys who usually do not have the opportunity to hunt get a chance at a deer.

Ended up with no one seeing deer, but they had a good time out in the woods so I was happy.

Thanks! Was excited to give them the opportunity since most of the 5 that participated don't have access to places outside of public land and they are not big enough hunters to take the initiative to go out to scout public lands or put up the investment for all the gear to go along with it. All they had to do was show up with their gun (and I even provided one of them with that). Think I will try to do it with them a few times next year since they seemed to enjoy it this year.
