This is my 3rd giant GSD. The other two were 120 lbs. and they ate 4, maybe 5 cups max at this age.

As you said, this one is 6. So 20-50% more. Were the others female? You said 120lbs vs 140 possibly

No, they were males. This is an Old Fashioned West German breed. This is how they looked 100 years ago before people started breeding the sloped hips and such into them. I've only seen 2 other males hit 140, which is about the max size for this breed. Most of the smaller ones (70 - 80 lbs) are typically original East German working lines.
