Boy that's tough I know, sorry to hear that.
So sorry for your loss. All dogs go to heaven!
It's all part of being a dog parent, I just wish they didn't have such short lives. I'm just thankful for the time I did get to have with him. He was an incredible dog.
Yes it is a part of being a dog parent like you say.
I'm of the mind the Lord made it that way, so we could know what unconditional love is.
We're kind of thick headed most of the time and if we only had one dog for a lifetime, we might not understand it.
But after having a few dogs in your lifetime it starts to click, they'll love you even if us curse them.
That's how God loves us, unconditionally.
Thinking of it this way has given me some comfort, I hate losing them so bad it about kills me...
Just the way I deal with it ...
Yeah, it's never easy losing them, but I'm ABSOLUTELY 100% thankful that God created them. Dogs are hands-down the greatest pets..... and also I don't trust anybody that doesn't like dogs, haha.
Gracie dog, lost her to a tumor last year. She will be a tough act to follow.
