A bit of good news for you is that I have read this allergy ( I believe it is referred to as alpha-gal ) does usually improve and resolve over time, according to anecdotal stories I've read. Several people had found that after a couple years the reaction was mild or non-existant. So maybe some hope for you there.

I have actually heard the same thing, but I am honestly scared to test it out.

The allergic reaction I had on Christmas of 2013 was BAD, and the allergist said that they are usually worse everytime you have one.

I was bit by the lone star tick in 2001 and haven't eaten anything but chicken, turkey and fish since. I went to the allergy doctor after many trips to te ER and he had no clue what was causing me to swell up. I kinda self diagnosed myself not to eat meat.

I hate it for you man, but I'm really glad you figured it out.

I would have NEVER guessed meat to be the culprit of my problems.
