I have not had that happen. I have had one FTF out of about 200 rnds. or so. I shoot 'em out of a Henry lever-action.

I picked up a couple of boxes to be able to shoot in the back yard. still loud as hell in my p22 (hand cycling the slide) but quieter than a pellet rifle out of my single shot Winchester rifle.
was considering picking up a 22 revolver for these but will still probably be too loud. the lever gun sounds like something I need to invest in though

Yeah they're definitely too loud out of a handgun. I first tried them out of my Mark II in the back yard and quickly went back in the house cause I thought the whole neighborhood heard! It's amazing the difference a long barrel makes.
