I was the angler on that fish, the fat guy with the rod.

It took me and hour and a half to land that 100 lb tuna.

Dang, don't know how you could handle an hour long fight! I'd been somebody grab this Rod after 10 minutes. I hear tuna are one heck of a fight.

Pure hard headdedness. I took down a couple bottles of water during the fight. My biceps hurt for two days.

My experience has been that marlin, tuna, mahi-mahi, wahoo, and what-not are fun, but that amberjack will make you WANT to let someone else land that bastard!

Dave- where were you guys fishing when y'all got the sail? I just got back from West Palm Beach fishing for sails... we caught several, but none that big. Beautiful fish.

Thanks man. It was the first time I traveled with just my father and brothers.

We were in Quepos Costa Rica and those are Pacific sails.

Yup, big difference. First time I've fished for sails and it was enjoyable.
