The clock says 4:30 but my body says 5:30 and it's time to get up.
I don't care if we have more light in the morning because it's too damn cold to do anything.

I don't like the idea of government manipulating time --time should be constant, based on scientific principles of the Earth revolving on its axis.

The most interference with that I would tolerate is the creation of time zones and the international dateline-- any further manipulation of time should be forbidden.

If SOCIETY wants Schools & businesses to start earlier in the day so that they can end earlier in the evening, fine, mandate hours of operation by law.
Not time changes by law .

PS: I do like the idea of having more daylight available at the end of the day rather than the beginning. So I wish we could have the equivalent of daylight saving time all year round.

Scientific principles?
Let's just have a second be a different duration at different times of day and different times of year, so there's always 12 hours between sunrise and sunset and 12 hours between sunset and sunrise.
That would follow the Earth revolving on its axis.
