Time to add another layer to the tin foil hats

Y'know, it's not so much the ability to view your laptops data(and don't get me wrong, that really sucks) as the ability to remotely activate your web-cam and microphone that bothers me. If you have a Skype ready laptop, then everything you do or say near it(well within camera range for video) is capable of being accessed by any hacker(including the NSA ones) anywhere. Nothing is private any more...not even the "privacy of your own home".

Put a post-it on the camera and don't tell where you hid the body around your laptop. Problem solved.

you can access any of your computers desktops with remote desktop, just enable your port forwarding and control away. I'm not worried about that more worried about my phone mic being on and my TV being on.

BBguns, bro, this capability has sincerely been around for 10-15 years now. You will have to allow the off-site user permission to " remote in " on your PC, but you can watch from your screen all his/her moves during the remote session. I am sure there is a way or will be a way for " big brother " to remote in without permissions from the site user, but I haven't heard of that capacity at this time.
