Tired of BS with Verizon

I've had Verizon for several years now and have yet to have any issues with them. I have to agree with glock and silverado that the service in Albany and Tifton sucks. I work in Cordele and their store has always been helpful. I currently have the Casio Commando and so far it's been great. In my line of eork I need a phone that can take the abuse.

You guys aren't exactly making me feel good about me switching to Verizon tomorrow. :(

You can't find a better company than Verizon. With 90 + million customers, sure you will have your complaints. Cheap..NO, but you get what you pay for.

For those that think Verizon is just soooo horrible, I strongly encourage you to try someone else, and then call me when you are ready to come back :)

I will try again, I have great coverage as far as being able to use my phones in most places, I have a problem with customer service at my local store. I resolved my problem after calling corporate. My wife in the past has handled problems on line before to fix problems that the store said that they could not or would not do. Therefor if you have to solve your problems by calling corporate or doing it online, what good is the store except to be there for you to sign papers when you buy or renew a contract? They call their some of their employees "service techs" at the store?????????

I use to work at a VZW call center. The people in the store will tell you they can't do it, you'll have to call, then the rep will sometimes tell you you have to go into the store. I've seen people's accounts and heard them tell the stories of getting the run around..and I've had it happen to me. Generally, the people on the phones are willing and able to help you. But it all depends are who picks up the phone, or calls you over to the counter...

Been all over this great country....had Cingular/BellSouth/AT&T since 2001....never had any reception issues. Both Verizon AND AT&T are good carriers IMHO, depends on what you want.

If you stay on 75 then Verizon is pretty good, there is a few spots that suck. But where I work we cover 32 counties in SW Ga a coworker has AT&T an when we got 50 miles for 75 in either direction he had to cut his off no signal at all. Like 77Rebel said verizon has the ruged phones an I need one for my line of work. I use to go thru so many phones till I got The Rock.
