maybe it is me but there seem to be PLENTY of jobs out there for these people. If you can stand on a street corner all day long in the sun holding a sign you can stand at the counter of Micky D's ...........IMO

Hell yeah, did that many of days, me and my Brother.
Bought my first gun 30-30 and lawnmower at the same place Otasco Store.
My father would never do that and would have kicked my azz for even thinking of doing it.
Unfortunately it is a different time and some morals and hard work just do not exist anymore for some folks.
I would be flat embarrassed to have to stand out and beg , much less have my family out there with me. SMDH

A lot of them are professional beggars who make a good living lying about their circumstances
I was working weekends and summers by 12 myself. Big part of the problem is big brother won’t let the young work anymore 
In the late 70's I used to ride my Scwinn 10 speed to the airport 10 miles away. I would wash airplanes in trade for a ride. I never did get my pilots license. Maybe when I retire I will. I also cut grass, cleaned gutters, washed cars, etc.

Exactly.....I started working on a construction site at age 10. By age 15 I had 3 jobs working @ 14hrs on Sat.I was working weekends and summers by 12 myself. Big part of the problem is big brother won’t let the young work anymore
