To all you biker guys that think you’re a biker

I rode a hardtail chopper once in the 70’s, swore I’d never ride another one after that experience. It felt like getting hit on the tailbone with a sledgehammer every 10-15 seconds, not to mention how hard it was to turn that long ass thing around. Bout jarred my eyes loose from my head and my teeth from my mouth, pretty sure I chipped a couple of teeth and lost a couple of inches in height that day. But damn, at least they said I sure did look cool.
Just like those ape hangers. I ask a guy about that once. He said, yea I have to stop about every 75mi to let the blood back in my extremities. But I sure to look cool goin down the road.......

B basstracker89 The mini apes aren’t bad but I always liked the Z-Bars. My last bike was made for comfort, my son’s bike is like a rolling La-Z-Boy though.
Mine: ‘04 Yamaha Roadstar Midnight Silverado 1700cc V-Twin with V&H Longshots with no baffles, very loud. lol

My son’s ‘24 HD 114ci Ultra Limited, this is one nice ride right here and it’s humongous! My Roadstar was about 800 lbs, Dave’s HD is just over 1000 lbs! It has just about everything comfort wise you can get on a motorcycle.

I like that, rolling Lazy Boy........🤣Try a Goldwing, you won't look back........I might actually inherit a Harley Ultra Glide Classic. I've sat on it. I really don't know how I'm goin to learn to ride it. It has forward foot controls. I've ridden all my life, but never one of those. I rode a Fat Boy once. I don't think it had forward controls on it. Had no problems with that one. And I hadn't ridden in decades at that time

Oh, I’ve ridden a Goldwing and almost bought one once, they’re definitely a sweet ride. I was surprised at how strong the acceleration was on it, it had plenty of giddy up and go. Speaking of Fat Boys, that’s what my son traded in on that Ultra Glide Limited. Here’s his goofy ass layin’ on it in his pj’s doing his infamous “modeling pose” with an Air Force flag. I swear man, sometimes that boy worries me. Poor kid looks like me and is about 25% crazier than I am. :becky: But he’s 42 and still looks like he’s 21, he’s a patched member of the Combat Vets Association down there in Fla. and still gets carded when he goes in a club with em’ unless it’s their clubhouse or the Veterans Club or American Legion. Lol! I’d be as tall as he is if I hadn’t rode that damn hardtail back in the 70’s.:pound:
