To Cerakote or Not to Cerakote?

I'm a huge fan of a lot of the Cerakoting I've been seeing lately, but that one looks pretty good the way it is.

can you cerakote an adjustable stock and grip or is it just for metal surfaces?
Thinking about this but dont want to worry about getting new furniture & finding the perfect matching color...
