I see several idiots in the video. Several are riding the longboards without any regard for rules of the road or other cars, and another who riskedrunning someone other just to make a point.

I'm no fan of heavy handed cops.....BUT....the punks are complaining about how they were stopped??? Did they suffer some amnesia about what THEY were doing mere moments before?? Did they just forget that what they were doing was illegal and dangerous to other pedestians and cars because of the LACK of any braking ability?? "I can do what I want, where I want, whenever I want..you tried to stop me and I'm gonna sue you for being too heavy handed with me!!" Probably live in their parents house down in the basement with their 60" TV playing the latest "Black Ops" drinking beer talking about their combat "exploits"!!!

Despite peoples willingness to conform to any law to get along those guys were just skate boarding. No one was in danger there until John J Lawdog decided to get dust on his cowboy boots.
Say you were exceeding the speed limit and an officer decided that the two of you should have a conversation about safe operation of a moving vehicle. Should he come flying at you in such a way that puts your life in danger or should he get behind you with his lights on?
In my mind the question comes down to risk. Was there a reasonable belief that the long boarders presented such a risk to public safety that they should be stopped at all costs?

Only problem I see here is some grown-assed men referring to themselves as "kids" and not taking tesponsibility for the consequences of their actions. Like so many Americans, they think they are entitled to do whatever the hell they want without repurcussions.
actually i think they would have been upset if he handed them a ticket or arrested them as well, but their main point of being run off the road is a very valid one
