Today I said the hell with it

Nephews home from school. Has three of his buddies in town for the day and they are heading to the beach tomorrow. He states his friends have never shot a gun in their lives. So I packed up my toys and we spent to afternoon just burning thru my ammo stash. First I was a little concerned, but 2 bulk packs of federal 22lr , and a couple boxes of 38 sp later, I could have cared less. To see the boys spend time together and laugh, made it worthwhile. When we got done, they thanked me and loaded up for the beach.

Guess my point is, regardless of what the outside world is doing, it is still worthwhile doing what we all love to do. It made me smile.

Good Job!

Thanks for introducing a couple of new folks to guns-the right way. Maybe someday, they will become strong supporters of the 2nd, and support what we all enjoy doing. It never, ever hurts to give someone a fun first experience with guns!

Very cool, you really never burned the ammo , but became a new torch carrier for our young to see that fire arms are'nt bad !!I wished ya'll could've seen my cousin from Baltimore when i let him shoot my mak 90. He'd never touched a fire arm until he was 17 or so ,he was lit for life after that . Have fun at the beach.

I agree with the group, awesome job...every time my wife and I take our children ( 12,8,6 yrs old) shooting it is great to see the looks on their faces and the stories they tell about the day are priceless. I firmly feel that is what this country is missing, a moral compass....anyway great job
