Toilet Paper Rolls

Is there a use for toilet paper or paper towels rolls? I usually save them and give them to the school for crafts but seems there may be a use for them. Fill them with dryer lint or something?
Just curious.

Waste not, want not. I usually trash them, but feel guilty about it. I agree there must be a use for them, but haven't figured it out yet.

our beagle loves to shred then eat them....but she likes to eat everything; rocks,22 casings, tomatoes off the vine,under ware etc.

When my dogs were pups I'd throw an empty one at them and they would fight over it....cheap entertainment for me and a cheap, but quickly destroyed toy for them!

Good bedding material or chewing toys for small gerbils, guinea pigs etc.
