I have a couple of these to hold the bolt into AR uppers when they're separated from a lower for transport or storage. I get asked about them every time someone sees them.

Right now orange and yellow are on sale 3 for $9.99 direct from Raven Concealment. I've only seen them locally once, and I don't remember where that was.

TopStop (AR Upper Receiver Cover)

The TopStop cover is designed to snap on most AR15 or M4 type upper receivers when they are detached from the lower receiver. The TopStop completely seals the upper receiver preventing fouling from getting in or out.

I normally just close the dust cover to keep BCG in place and carry on. Hunting gun is like that right now.

I suppose if you had multiple uppers you were hauling around to swap onto your only lower….

Should be perfect for a 9mm upper I don’t have a dedicated lower for… BCG comes flying out any chance it gets.

Or you separate them to fit in a more compact bag. Or have a dedicated 22 that matches your 556, etc..
