Had a few lately that wanted me to deliver the item. Wasn’t willing to meet halfway. I’ll keep it before I deliver all the way across the state.

Just tack on mileage and per diem.

I consider milage when making an offer on a deal. I've driven to most of the state over the years except the very southwest corner. If it is a good deal, I'm rolling.

I took a little ride this morning and got to meet a great guy and trader B breedy . Sometimes the scenery to get to a meet is an added bonus.

Why is it that we will drive an hour each way to a LGS and maybe pay retail and taxes; but won't drive 1/2 hour to do a meet up for the same thing for less money? I hate to say it; but I think a lot of the reason is that people don't take credit cards and buyers doesn't have the cash available.

When I head to FL or TN I always check what’s around to see if I can make something work. I haven’t been much on here lately but heading to Augusta for work and taking a peek to see what’s out there. 😉

I drove from Hogansville to Savannah back in the day to buy a Handi Rifle from a member for $325. Something I wanted so I made the trip happen. Even gave the guy $25 extra because he met me just a few miles outside of Savannah proper. Distance really has never been an issue for something I want bad enough.......
