castle transmission on Main Street done work for me and stood behind there work , was a few years ago
The two shops near here I've dealt with for years have both closed.
Damn shame too...both were owned by knowledgeable old timers.

Trans plus in Cartersville is the only shop I trust, at the moment. I need a few rebuilt now but money is scarce.
Castle screwed up our Crv. Did the trans 4 times and it's still not right. Has new owners now,so it may be better now.
David Mixon in Rockmart, does great work.
I've never heard anything bad about him. He's done some work for a few of my old coworkers.
He actually done my daughter’s truck and my son in law’s truck of course at different times. He went to school with them and he said he wouldn’t fix it back like GM specs but when he fixed it they wouldn’t have those problems again about $2000.00 each. But full warranty too.
I have 3 that need rebuilding now but can't afford it at the moment.
