Truck/car holster

Im looking to carry my G26 in my truck at all times. Im looking for ideas on how to mount it and make it easily accessible if need be. The only issue Im running into is that Im left handed. Right side of the seat is a no go for me. Anyone have any ideas on something that looks clean and serves it purpose?

I have seen folks that have taken a holster and mounted it under the dash. It would go just to the side of the steering column. Almost near where the fuse panel is located. There are also companies that manufacture a bracket that you mount a holster to that bolts to the floorboard. You would only have the problem of that being a cross draw type situation.

Im thinking about taking an older crossbreed style holster and using the "o-rings" on the kydex to mount it under my steering column. Ill use bolts with washers and nuts. If I think I can make it look good. Ill measure it all up tomorrow if its not raining.

if u only shoot left handed then it would be best to get a gun that's at least ambidextrous right?

I can shoot right handed also, but Im more comfortable shooting lefty, especially if SHTF. Ill post some pics up tomorrow when I rig this up
