I haven't seen this question asked...

I'm planing on doing a trust for my SBR.
When to my local bank(united) and asked about opening trust account for NFA. They said they do not do it.
Lawyer that will be doing my trust recommend me to open an account.

Which bank should I use?
Would you recommend to open an account?

Did you tell them it was for guns? just say you have a revocable trust that needs a checking account. granted it is completely unnecessary

Has your attorney that is recommending you open an account done many trusts? I have a trust and no DDA and it has never been a problem.

Exactly, don't use personal checking acct or joint with spouse.............

Uh why? It's not abnormal for a member of a trust to purchase items for a trust as an agent.

Some false idea that the ATF will decide its personally owned not trust owned, even after approval.

Hmmm that's dumb, so even after filing out the paperwork for the item, having it approved by the ATF, they could come back and say its not on the trust? As long as you have a copy of the trust and whats on it there shouldn't be any problems right??
