Based on some other threads on similar issues and asking the question "do you intervene?" well, lets just say its good these guys were there at the right time and not some of us odt guys that have clearly said "no, i will not intervene."

As has been relayed here before, many would have just looked the other way.

Right. This situation is EXACTLY like the last attack that was presented on here a few weeks ago. A woman putting a child in her car who is attacked by two thugs in a Walmart parking lot is EXACTLY like the wrecked ice cream truck scenario where the driver is being chased around with a baseball bat in the middle of the hood, who isn't trying to defend himself, in a location surrounded by elevated positions, with who knows how many friendlies the attackers have in the vicinity. You are both completely right. The two situations are absolutely identical. You are both also correct in assuming that those who would not intervene in one would not intervene in the other. That kind of logic, well, it's just simply above reproach. I am in awe.

i was not referring to the ice cream truck incident. There have been a few threads started on "would you intervene?" and some guys on here (apparently not you) have said "no! Never! Unless it involves me and mine." I was referring to those kind of comments. The cut and dry "does not involve me, then i do not get involved."
