TX-22 FRT

$125 is, in my opinion, price gouging for a design they didn't even come up with. You can get one in 4130 steel (supposedly the stainless version can damage the striker plate over time) from Contactfrontsolutions for $40 plus shipping. The 3d file is free if you happen to have a 3d printer and some carbon fiber reinforced filament to print with.

Note that the printed ones are only expected to last 200 - 500 rounds before needing replacement. I have the 4130 one from Contactfrontsolutions but haven't installed it yet. I'm currently running one of his printed pieces and waiting for it to wear out before putting in the steel one. No issues so far-

I am reading that some are sticking wheel weights to the slide to slow down the cyclic rate
I’d rather add a cheap-dovetailed red dot mount and red dot. That’s what I did and I’ll report back whenever I get to finally shooting this thing. Life’s been hectic lately.

I gotta find me a cheap tx22 now 😥😥

Surprised no one has mentioned this option.
Slap that on with a picatinny mounted dot and you should have plenty of weight without making it look like an abomination from Discount Tire.
