TX-22 FRT

Even at $100 it's a rip off

Friend came over today to shoot some stuff , played around experimenting with different ammo types . Mine ate everything I fed it . I put a Dead Air Mask on it , couple mags of American Eagle black box suppresser 970 fps . No problems , I liked it .
Your dead air mask didn't ftf at all? I have a tx22. I have the frt, but haven't installed. I wanted it for suppressed shoting, but didn't watch any videos about it before. Now I see the slide is really might and my jam up under the frt speed. Have an older Ruger 22 suppressor... If doesn't work with it, I'm going to be getting another brand to make it work, or try to add weight, like the heaviest RMRc I can find.

anyone printed their own 3d printed version that works? I installed one I 3d printed and no job. doesn't reset the trigger at all (like I can't shoot it single shot or FRT). Waiting on an aluminum one to come in the mail (who knows how long that's going to take).

I downloaded 2 versions, one looked to be too big and I couldn't see how it would fit and still move at all, the other seemed right but after I put it in, it doesn't work at all.

anyone have an STL file or similar they would send me. or link to?

between this and trying to get a 4.5" SS AR22 to run, I'm at wits end. :)

I have one of the Contactfrontsolutions 3d printed ones in my gen 1 TX22 and it has been running flawlessly. I downloaded the file as well, using the link he provides on his website, but haven't personally tried printing any yet as I don't currently have any PA6CF filament.

Note that he includes a handful of the 3d printed pieces in the package with the 4130 steel one which he sells for $40.

Also note that the estimated life expectancy of 3d printed pieces is in the 200 - 500 round range.

I don't see any reason to spend $100 or more on one, or get something cheap from an unknown source when CFS has them for $40 and provides a link to the 3d files he uses.
