TX-22 FRT

I’ll keep everyone posted here on progress. I won’t be the one selling them. Just providing feedback.
The big plus here is not having to replace your inserts frequently as the FRT disconnector chews it up.
TacticalRN has them for $60 so hopefully/maybe they will be cheaper than that. The $200 that the other website is charging is just crazy.

I have a Gen 1 full size with an Amazon special dovetailed red dot mount with a Romeo zero and it runs subs and supers suppressed no problem. I haven’t even shot it unsuppressed.

Who’s ready to FRT their 10/22?? That might be next for me.

The ART trigger.

Definitely not ready for prime time. You need some 3D printed version, then you have to sand it just right for a template to metal. Even then a flat piece of metal won’t work because it needs a groove for the trigger spring to seat in.

Maybe someone will figure out a less DIY approach because I am one of many 10/22 whores around these parts.

Wonder if this will do the trick.

I bought two to play with from him and it’s a big no without modification. Even called him to talk about it and he admitted to sending them out prematurely and that they’d need work.

Also, what wasn’t mentioned and I don’t know if he’s updated his description, they require a metal trigger shoe.

On top of having to modify this, the metal is too thin to create a groove for the trigger spring to sit in. It’s basically a $20 tiny mailbox flag keychain.

This is the r&d I was looking into doing. I don’t remember seeing a metal trigger shoe needing to be used but I mostly skimmed it. I hadn’t purchased one yet, thankfully, seeing as they do not work as described.

I didn’t want to fiddle with the 3D printed one being that you have to do more work that I wasn’t willing to spend time doing.

Thanks for the info.
