TX-22 FRT

Done some testing with my Taurus . One interesting thing that popped up , I was getting first round not firing . I usually lock the slide back , insert mag , drop the slide and fire . Doing this gave me a dead trigger , no bang . By chance I inserted the mag , racked the slide , pulled the trigger and it fired . Not saying yours will do this , but mine does . So now it’s mag , rack the slide , good to go . Posting a chart I made of what I used and my results. . The lower power ammo had an understandable slower rate of fire , 1070 fps seemed the median and what I dialed mine in at , I have a LOT of it . The higher the fps , the faster and louder it ran . The parts installed on the gun are . Freedom Finger FRT , Lakeside +2 pound recoil assembly , in my opinion this made everything run so much better without adding a lot of weight ! Galloway optic plate , has cavities that I put a single cut to size and fitted piece of 1/4” and a piece of 3/16” tungsten rod in for weight . Chart shows weights and effects . Hope it helps someone . I’m not a rocket scientist , so don’t criticize. I’ve enough people on blocked . I’ll be buying myself an Otter Creek titanium .22 suppresser come Black Friday as a Christmas present to myself , I’ll forego possession until after the first of the year , no tax stamp !

So 1.6oz is g2g with all your testing?

Had good results with it . But as I said , the Lakeside assembly is the way to go . Stock recoil assembly , everyone is jury rigging weight . This I feel offsets some weight . I think the OCL suppresser will be the sweet spot between Hux lo flow and Mask weight .

Got my steel CNC made striker block , whatever from Stark80 with his CNC made disconnecter . A truly WELL made piece ! No burrs , bad spots , NOTHING ! It’s pretty . Weighs in at .7 ounces . I’ll try it in the gun in the next few days . With this part , the Galloway with tungsten pieces and the factory optic , I’m 1.5 ounces over the weight of the steel plate on the slide . I’ll try another bit of tungsten to get closer to 2.0 ounces . Might order a piece of tungsten bar and cut and fit to the exact opening in the Galloway . I’m sure I can get 2.0 ounces easily .IMG_1649.png
