I some how over tightened the front cap or something and the front two baffles came out of alignment and overlapped each other. Any advice on how to separate them? I tried heating it up and seeing if I could turn it back or pull them apart but there's no good leverage point without damaging the baffle. Any advice before I contact DA? Thanks!

Just filled it out. I wonder if I have to send the full can in. Everything else is fine. Hopefully their CS has changed from all the nightmares I’ve read about in the past

just take a wooden dowel and use it as a punch to hit the last baffle from inside the first baffle, Hold the first baffle in a vice with some aluminum or plastic.

as mentioned a wooden dowel should work (could split the wood a few times) but either way I would send it back to DA and have them replace or redo the baffles as it would make it difficult to remove or install them correctly with them being bent like that.

I am sure they will take care of you quickly.

Update. Well I tried pretty much everything here and either i didnt do it right or it just didnt work. Shipped it to Dead Air and they warrantied it same day and had it back in the mail 2nd day air...e.g. just replaced the baffles lol. Then sent me a hand written note to clean it. Other than those two baffles, the rest were absolutely spotless. Got a good laugh though.
