Just read an article about this! We’ve been thinking all these years that it was the buck with the bad gene for the bad horns. The new article out of university of Georgia says, kill off all the does they are carry in the bad horn.Gen.

Bill I feel there’s no way to control free range whitetails ,biologists have told us many time that the buck only constitutes to 50% of the genetics and most de formalities are from pedicle damage thru the shedding process.we only kill them when they get 5.5+ and have a buck tag left toward end season if we see them.i know most folks consider them culls, that’s just a excuse to shoot.
