*UPDATED* Adventure Outdoors Core15 AR Special Order

For those still interested, here's another update. Last time I called I got the "you should get it soon" and I was told that I was 11th in line for the Core15 special orders. Today, however, I was told that I'm 23rd! As some sort of sop to me, since I'm such an idiot to continue to wait for this gun, they have offered me free range time between now and when I pick up the rifle. Gee, thanks. I look forward to driving across town to shoot there. NOT. I was reminded about my ability to get a refund - yep, but then I'm back to where I started. Junk.
UPDATE!! I went to Adventure Outdoors today and got my money back then luckily made it up to TrePrep in Marrietta and picked up a CORE15 in time (which also came with a PMAG not GI 
). Sry Fwafwow i beat ya to it! lol but the guys at TruPrep were awesome and they had some really neat stuff in stock Magpul furniture,Tac bags, etc.. So lesson learned never Special Order from Adventure Outdoors!!! Also dont wait until the next gun ban scare to buy your toys. i wont buy a weapon from a company who is possibly selling guns people have special ordered on Gunbroker.com or Armslist. How true that is idk but i wouldnt put it past them based on what their customers have reported. Finally got my AR!!!!

JustAGoodOleBoy - congratulations. I was so close to ordering that rifle yesterday - even by phone without having ever heard of TruPrep before this thread on ODT. By the way, when I last spoke to AO, they implied that my "refund" was in fact just a credit ("you can use it towards any other gun in the store"). I explained that I expected a cash refund if I claim it. Looking forward to some more stuff to arrive at TruPrep. By the way Dondon, I'm also waiting on a FN FiveSeven on special order. Any chance you can secure one of those too? 
Thanks man! The guys at TruPrep were great. If you dont have any luck at TruPrep. The AR Bunker had 3 or 4 Core15's on the shelf that i know of come in just last month, i hear they have a steady supply of guns and they post on their facebook.

Yeah, I expected as much. At least on that "special order" I'm less inclined to think I'm getting the run around - as they seem pretty hard to get at retail at the moment. But a lot has changed in the last month, so perhaps that too will change.
