URGENTLY SEEKING N95 MASKS for DOCTORS

Great idea, that one's only a preorder for shipping in May (who know what things will look like in May...The Walking Dead possibly...). I'll look into these.
You can get it in April, if you pay an extra $68. The guy that brought this to my attention is Dr. Arthur Bradley, a NASA engineer, who has his own prepper site, https://disasterpreparer.com/product/coral-uv/
From the disaster prepper website, you can order special hooks to hold the masks closer to the lamps. I priced out a UV chamber with a year of spare parts for $138 for May delivery, and Dr. Bradley's hooks are $14.99 with free ship. The chamber uses UV-C lamps. It would seem that hospitals would have a larger unit like this for the disinfection of certain items. We might have to bring back autoclaves to disinfect Tyvek suits and gloves much like Russia did when the Iron Curtain was intact.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the hospital staff are mostly responsible for the shortages in the medical facilities by making sure their families and loved ones have a supply

Paramedic for a large metro fire dept here..I feel your pain. Gema is getting some of the stockpile and I saw 2 large autoclaves on the form, but who knows what facility they will be going to. Everything is on need to know basis, and unless you are admin you don't need to know. These next few weeks are going to be horrible

That is incorrect, although it would be convenient for you.

Hospitals don’t stockpile - they get supplies multiple times a week. Thy keep a few days of supplies on hand, that’s it. Masks have been highly controlled at our hospitals for at least a month now, but the resupply chain is dry.

Ed physicians are in many hospital systems are acting in administrative roles and are authorized to source approved PPE from any source at rates that are reasonably reimbursable (which knocks off the list the assholes selling masks for $10 each on Craigslist and eBay. Criminals, IMO.)

I got a "care package" 2 weeks ago from a friend that works at the hospital. 2 of my neighbors are nurses, their families all have face mask from the hospital and doctors office. Every medical professional I know got masks for their families when this first happened

I'm curious about these KN-95 masks on Amazon but just found a document that 3M has that explains the KN-95s and other masks from other countries. The link opens to a 3M pdf file. https://multimedia.3m.com/mws/media...filtering-facepiece-respirator-classes-tb.pdf
All the ones I’ve found in stock have misspellings and poor grammar in the description: signs they’re counterfeits made in China (also look at the people in the pictures) I wouldn’t trust my life to the N95 rating.
