Used Rifle Prices on ODT?

The other day I was looking at an ODT post for 12 gauge 00 Buck shotgun rounds. I thought about it and thought if it is a good price, I’d stock up.

I checked and his price was exactly 2X what I could buy it for online. Caveat emptor

Always worth more to have a weapon that's been tested and broken in than an unknown new in the box mystery.

Ah, the joys of the ODT. many years ago I had someone offer to sell me a milsurp for a pretty good price. I did a search on ODT for the most current price and, lo and behold, found the exact same pictures of the exact same gun (SN) for sale for about $75 less than the guy who contacted me said he needed.

Dude was going to buy cheap and sell high. That's the American way!

I had a dude trade me a gun, and put the gun I traded him up for sale right away. It was sketchy as hell ( he is still on here) . At the time it kind of freaked me out. I said to him hey if you want to trade back, because you aren’t happy, then let me know. I didn’t quite understand why, at the time and it kind of freaked me out. He told me the deal was final and told me to f- off. I guess he figured he could get more money for the gun I traded him. Well I was happy with the trade, upon further inspection of the box the gun came in, I found 200$ tucked in behind the foam insert. I tried contacting him to meet up, he said “ I told you to f- off”.

Sometimes if you have one for sale and have a trade offer, you take the trade offer and sell that.

I've had people list a gun in the parking lot of the trade. Some people don't know what they want.
