UTV’s street legal in Ga

Saw a side by side using a state highway yesterday. Speed limit 55. Even trying to stick to the shoulder (or just off it) most the time, seems a little dicey to me.

I see them in town at lower speed limits. What confuses me is when they switch up from using it like a car to using it like a pedestrian in the blink of an eye. Hope everyone stays safe.

State roads are not legal, county roads are fine, no speed limit restrictions. It’s really dangerous to switch from on road to off road and strataling both is a no go.

My hunting property is 3 miles from the house, I drive my Ranger pretty regularly but have been concerned about getting busted. Now that it’s legal, I’m definitely going to tag it. Can’t seem to find current accurate info.

Yes, you have to have liability insurance, we’ve got full coverage for $206.00 a year. Not too bad.

yet kei trucks are illegal

This is my gripe, they would be a better option for most people.
