Hello all, I plan on SBR'ing my Norinco 320 and was looking for input on barrel lengths on anyone that may have and sbr'd one already I'm stuck between the 8" and 10" and i do plan on using a suppressor with it as well. New to the SBR game and mainly looking for input. Also on a second note I have a Liberty Mystic in jail and was looking on input on either having the barrel threaded and direct threading the can or getting the Uzi specific adapter, im not sure if they make 3 lug barrels for the semi's so i think that option is out. Thanks.

I went with the 10" barrel for an OAL of 25.75". Here is a bad photo of mine. I have not suppressed mine so can't comment on that.

Am i correct in assuming that as long as i form 1 as 8" barrel then any length longer is ok?
Also, NWSharpshooter do you have any problems with the can backing off as a direct thread?
Fine looking guns both of you BTW

You can put whatever you intend to build on the form 1. Once you build it as approved, you can change the barrel length to any length you want and the only request you notify them of permanent changes. Really, it isn't possible to permanently change the barrel length on an uzi since the barrels are so easy to replace. My gun is stamped at 10.5" but wears the 8.5" barrel 99.9% of the time now.

I only have direct thread cans. The only time I have ever had issues with cans backing off is when they are new. Once they get a few hundred rounds through them and build up some carbon they stay put.

Run a 10.5 green mountain barrel on mine with an octane 9. Happy with the combo when running 147gr with Titegroup. I checked that the suppressor is still tight after each magazine, but I do this with all my hosts
