Valuation of gun/ammo inventory

I have a friend that needs an monetary evaluation of a small gun & ammo collection (how much it is worth). About 10 different guns and 5K ammo. He is willing to pay a consulting fee for the time and energy.

Any recommendations?

They are modern firearms, he lives in the metro area. I'd get him to create a list of everything and then share that with whoever wanted to do it, in a spreadsheet or something.

Yeah, this. The appraiser / valuation guy would need to see these firearms & possibly even check proof marks and patent dates and such for any old and collectible ones.

Gunbroker will show the current, live going rate, for better or worse. Its great for modern weapons, a little harder for old stuff as you deep into condition, wear, etc
Whats the list? 10 isn't too big of a number. Post here and you'll get a general idea.
