Just one final comment they should have the original rings included.
They should also have the original flat bottom 10 round mag as opposed to be slightly curved 10/22 10 round mag. they often get switched by accident but to be completely original it should be the flat one.
That actual part number for the flat bottom mag for the bolt action rifles is JX-1, compared to the BX-1 for the 10/22 riles. They are virtually the same, with the exception of the flat bottom. My research has shown that 94.37% of Ruger aficionados are unaware of the existence of the JX-1 mag!It does have the original rings but I was unaware that the 10 round mag was diff from the 10/22’s. Good info

Just in case I decide to modify one of mine. Traded in to a spare barrel and had it threaded.so on the subject of 77/22. Anyone sent one off to Connecticut Precision to have any work done on it (or any other Rugers?)?
Has anyone had someone local thread the barrel or replaced with an aftermarket barrel? I know TacSol was making an SBX barrel for the 77/22 a while ago, not sure if they are still around (the 77/22 SBX).
I've got an older 77/22lr and a newer 77/22 hornet. I'd like to thread the 77/22 for a can. Not a big deal to change the value of it as I doubt I would ever sell it, but just curious about others thoughts. I've got a browning 52 that I could thread instead.
I'd like to send both of mine to them for their accuracy package on both and thread the lr one.

If its THAT clean and has the original rings and perhaps the box you have a $600 version..Well dang, I have an 80's vintage that you'd be hard pressed to tell isn't BNIB. I've never shot it (yet). It was my father's. I had no idea they commanded that kind of money. No, it's not for sale.
