Everybody is sticking to their guns and acting like the other side of the argument is unquestionably wrong.
I think it's naive to say that the prosecution didn't prove ANYTHING. Did they prove that Casey Anthony murdered her daughter beyond ANY REASONABLE DOUBT? In my eyes, yes...but I can see where the rest of you are coming from. We get so revved up in this discussion that many of you are acting like this was a clear cut not guilty case, but it seems to be much more complicated than that to me.

Yup. It should be very, very difficult to convict someone.
I don't get that any of us feel that she is not guilty....just that the prosecution didn't meet their burden. The truly sad thing is that now, with jeopardy attached, she will never face those particular charges again. There HAS to be evidence out there, and once it is found, it will be too late.
I don't think this is totally true. No one is saying that because she was acquitted she didn't do it. No one is saying that she's not a scumbag. I think we can all agree that we wish there was conclusive evidence that would've landed a conviction.
So, this morning on CNN alternate juror #14 gave an interview....when asked point blank if he felt that the prosecution had met it's burden he did not hesitate to say no.....he was pretty certain that he, sitting in the courtroom for some 30 days listening to every word, was not convinced. I did not get the impression that he was exaggerating and his experience with and exposure to this case was far greater than anything any of us has had.

come on , people are convicted on way less than what was shown in this case, she was the last one to be with the child, and never said anything happened to her ? give me a freaking break, what more do you need a video.
