Yes. I had a field cleared and that’s what they did. The thing is the costs involved to bring in all that heavy equipment for just one tree.Hey fatcat, resist the urge to cut the tree down to ground level before you have someone come look at it. Most of the time the stump and root ball are much easier to remove if you leave as much trunk sticking up as possible. This gives a machine operator something to grab, push, and pull to remove the rootball. Ideally, if space permits a good operator can dig around the tree and push it over, using the trees weight to bring it down.
There is another way to do it. Of course its cheaper to do it right the first time rather than doing it twice and doing it right the second time.Yes. I had a field cleared and that’s what they did. The thing is the costs involved to bring in all that heavy equipment for just one tree.
I’m thinking there has to be a redneck way to do this
Not to do it correctly without a sink hole in the middle of your slab. Then it caves in and cracks everywhere.Yes. I had a field cleared and that’s what they did. The thing is the costs involved to bring in all that heavy equipment for just one tree.
