What do you not like about open office? There is a small variation in the menu system, but there isn't that much difference in overall function unless you are a power user. It doesn't have all the presets for forms, charts etc. But it will make them just the same. There are lots of templates available to download as well. I use both, but prefer OpenOffice or LibreOffice. When I first started using them a few years back, the learning curve was only a couple of days.

I just read this thread and was thinking how lucky I was to not have had any virus issues.
Son of gun if not 5 minutes later I get the pop up asking me to update my flash player.....something is going on.
No other windows/tabs open. Just ODT.

Really don't care about their stance...Chrome is a superior browser.
lol, no its net better than any of the competition but have fun with it and when the Google man supports anty gun lobbies we all know who to blame
Personally I use Chrome with Windows 7 and have never had any of the issues people have reported having. I wish I did as it would make it much easier to track down issues if I could replicate them myself.
It would be very helpful if anyone having an issue with this could post a screenshot and provide info as to what browser, operating system, etc they are using.

I am using win8 and ie10 (in desktop mode, not tile browser) and got the flash player update popup
