I do not understand why it's a big deal to have to prove who you are before voting. If you are a registered voter, it seems like you would prefer to know someone else couldn't just walk in and vote in your place. The last time I voted was in Kentucky just before moving back to Georgia. When I signed in at the precinct, the lady looked at me and said, "so that's who you are, I have never met you but I recognize the name".
