Walmart ammo availability thread - Post what you see available & where!

22lr is still hard to find, but the other calibers are starting to be seen more regularly. Unfortunately, at two of the Walmarts where they used to be good about putting the ammo out when it came in and not playing games, they seem to have gotten new people working in sporting goods that hide ammo. In the past week, at both the Hiram and Acworth stores, I've been told they had no .22lr in stock, even when their own in store computers showed that was not true.

The Walmart in Lawrenceville has some CCI Maxi Mag .22lr in stock. I saw six boxes of 50 rounds. Couldn't see the price. The Walmart off Memorial Drive in Atlanta has Federal 9mm rounds. Also has Federal .40 cal.

Wal-Mart in Ellijay had two boxes of 325 federal 22lr for 18.95 per box..which is 2 bucks more than last month..Asked the counter guy and he told me they have a 1 box limit..I have all I need and don't flip..I have been known to donate to the scouts before..Just can't stomach what is going on now..DD

Lawrenceville Walmart off sugarloaf pkwy has as of 930pm last night brassmax 9mm boxer primed non corrosive brass cased about 20 boxes another brand of russian 9mm that was in a blue box and looked brass cased also. Has anyone tried the site I mentioned. www.gunbot.net I dont even look at wal-mart anymore. Saves money on gas, headaches, and anger. Just as cheap because vendors are fighting against eachother.

ammoseek.com is the best if you want to see the most up to date live pricing and its not a headache if your not far from walmart to check and see if they have ammo.I have 4 within 5 miles of me so I guess Im lucky.

Bells ferry Walmart had 2 boxes of federal .45auto 100 packs for I believe $34. Also had a single Winchester white box .40 100 pack and two 50 count boxes. Some 12 gauge buckshot. Some 7.62x39. And a single box of federal 223 soft points for $21.
