Walmart ammo availability thread - Post what you see available & where!

Hey no problem thats what were all here doing helping each other out.

Also they never have any that was rare to have more than a half dozen of them at any givin time.

I was in there tuesday and they had like 6 of them and the sales guy said that out of the blue he noticed that there was 9 cases on the truck and it freaked him out and thats the only reason I came back. Actually that is one of the worse ones when it comes to .22.

Yea that's what the lady that helped me said. She she had seen any in a while. They had the same. Federal on Tuesday? How many boxes in a case? 8?

They told me they started with 90 boxes at the walmart this morning. 10 boxes in a case

wow. I know none of my local Walmart have been getting any more than a couple boxes. I think the last time I even saw .22 at my Walmart was a year ago and they had like 9 boxes of Win 555.

Jasper WM had lots of ammo, the only boxes I kept my eye on were the rare, elusive .22lr. Had quite a few different manufactures, some 333 boxes, Federal 550 bricks and CCI 100 round boxes also. Unfortuanlty they only allow you 1 box of .22. I picked up 1 Federal brick. Noticed a gentlemen looking at the ammo, joked with the clerk she mind as well get one for him, he said he did not need it so I asked him to buy a box for me which he did. So I was able to leave WW with 2 boxes of Federal. Clerk said she will be happy when it is gone, got the impression that is all she was doing this morning, selling .22, and for those keeping tabs on pricing, WW still sells the 550 federal brick for $23.97 + tax.

No 22 at the ones in Covington or Conyers. Some 9mm and 40 at all of them, but very little.

On a lighter note, someone was telling everyone how stupid 22 hoarders were, since it can't be stored, as it goes bad really fast.

10-20 years I've heard. Of course some of the folks hoarding are 50-70 years old. Sort of like a lifetime supply.........................
