Walmart ammo availability thread - Post what you see available & where!

Loganville Walmart has about 10 boxes of 45 ACP Winchester white box. That was as of 10 minutes ago. They also had 1 box of federal champion 357.

As of 10p-12a this evening...

Union City has some .308 and I believe some .40 S&W plus the usual crap.
College Park Walmart has 2-3 Winchester .40 S&W value packs. I think they had some .308 too.
Riverdale Walmart has 4x 22LR CCI Stinger (50ct box). There is 2-3 Winchester .40 S&W value packs (100ct) there too.
Morrow Walmart = nada
Stockbridge (Hudson Bridge) = nada
McDonough = nada (shotshells on pallets)
Locust Grove = nada (shotshells on pallets)

Walmart in Fayetteville had a shipment come in yesterday. had 18 boxes of tula 7.62x39 and 6 boxes of shotgun hollow point. took those all. Nothing much left. I talked to the guy there and he said walmart is not ordering anymore ammo until any thing happens with the gun proposals?. Just selling what they have.. Not sure how true that is, just what he said. Btw he also owns guns and rifles and not just someone who works there

Rumor has it that a local Loganville gun shop has an in with the Walmart store manager. That's why you're not finding ammo here. The owner is sending over his employees to scoop it all up as it comes in.

That happens at the monroe walmart. An employee told me a local pawn shop does the same thing including one instance buying two AR15 from walmart and walking out in the parking lot and selling one of them to another person that was asking about the same rifle in the store.

I wonder what they would do if someone snapped the gun shop owner's picture buying the ammo in bulk from wal mart and then posted it here on the ODT to bash the hell out of them? I personally would LOVE to know who they were so I could make sure to never shop there. Those scumbags

They order way in advance. It's not like a drive in window. What's on their shelves was ordered last year and has been in the
pipeline for months. It's not a faucet they can cut on and off. I assume a district manager/buyer or store manager can choose to not re-order something but they are in business to sell stuff and ammo is stuff. It's all about profits and they need to increase theirs. The ammo cabinets in their stores are expensive real estate and are expected to generate sales so if they are not going to stock them with ammo then they will take them out and replace them with something else. Haven't seen that happen yet and don't expect it to happen anytime soon.
