Walmart ammo availability thread - Post what you see available & where!

Went to Walmart in McDonough a few hours ago and very slim pickens! Decatur Walmart yesterday had a better selection (.40 cal X 2 boxes, multiple hunting calibers 30-06, etc., but no 9mm/.22 or the norm that every one is looking for). Only went there because the website lied and said they had Tullamo .223 in stock.

Cool. I'll have to swing by after work.

Does walmart list all their ammo on the website?

Ammo is listed on their website. You can use a feature that is supposed to show you what is currently available at the store location you select. This feature is not accurate at all. I called several stores in south GA and north FL the other day. When I mentioned the website information, an employee told me that no one should ever rely on that info because it is not correct. She told me to always call and ask first. The best time to go is in the morning before 9am.

3 box limit has popped up at my store as well. Got one box of Winchester 555 ct 22lr at Newnan store today. Arrived behind 2 other gentlement who kindly only took one box each of the 3 remaining so I could get one. Also picked up the last 3 boxes of American Eagle 5.56 at my store in LaGrange this afternoon. Other than a few 243, 300 man and 7MM there were no rifle calibers in stock.

There were a few boxes of .30-06, .243 and .22 short at the Cleveland,GA store yesterday. Two box limit. There were also 3 40-round boxes of Winchester .22/250 (for $32.67/bx) when I got there, but only 1 when I left. :) The Dawsonville, GA store had the same .30-06 and .243, but also had one box of WWB .22/250 40 round and 4 bricks of CCI .22LR AR Tactical. An off duty deputy sheriff and I splt the .22LR and as the clerk was putting the ammo on the counter, the deputy noticed a supply sled loaded with boxes. 2 of them said "Small Arms", so he asked the clerk what they were. He opened one up and it was a case of Rem. .22 Golden Bullet.(10 boxes of 225 each for $9.95 a box). We smiled at each other and bought a case each.

Three box limit in Warner Robins- (Watson, didn't go to the Booth Rd Walmart) Checkout Woman said "oh, at least you got your 3 boxes limit today, there was a couple that came through and each of them had 3 boxes". They are the Federal 550 .22s. for $21.77. Don't mind spending $66 bucks for three, sure beats trying to buy them on here for $45-$60 each. Sorry to say, they were the last 3 on the shelf.

Who said Walmart is not distributing ammo?
