Walmart ammo availability thread - Post what you see available & where!

Well the Fort Oglethorpe Walmart got in a few cases last night.

The stock crew brought out the pallets that contained 1 case of 40 Winchester 100count, 1 case 9mm Federal 100count, 1 case 45 Federal (unknown count) and 1 case 22lr (I believe it was a 325 count). Once the vultures ripped into the pallets, while 6 others including myself wait patiently at the ammo counter, and took all but 1 box of 22lr and 2 boxes of 9mm.

We left 1 box of 40 and an unknown number of 45 boxes.

If you are in this area you might want to stop in and see what they have left. If you are needing 22lr and are in the area Jacks Pawn Shop in Dalton had 20+ break out bags, 100 ct, of Remington when I was in there on Thursday (limit 1 bad)

They didn't make the vultures wait till they stocked it?

I'm not posting availability anymore on this site. I've made enough local contacts who would like to shoot or store the ammo as it becomes available, not double the price. I think a lot of you "Good" people should do the same, it's sad that "flippers" use this forum to advance thier own financial gain during this time. Some kid out there will be eaten by Zombies because he couldn't afford the ammo to practice with.

I agree ^^^^^^^^^^^

We should devise a code system kinda like the Bandit and Snowman had with CB channel's...
Example: If you say the Warner Robins Walmart has ammo....it really means the Canton Walmart is stocked!!!

We'll have them all out there steppin' and fetchin'
Like their heads was on fire and their asses was catchin'

I have been monitoring this thread and have not been able to beat the flippers to a single round of .22 lr or .223. I check everytime I am in Walmart, and with 5 kids that is quite often. Made a special trip to Jasper yesterday, no luck. Free enterprise I suppose, but it still sucks. I am sure that there are quite a few nonshooters using the current market to turn a quick buck.

Same here. I refuse to pay flippers prices, and I am patient (so far I've gotten all my rifles and pistols and most of my ammo at prices equal to or less than what they were going for before the recent panic), but I have to admit it is very frustrating! I appreciate having a job and getting a steady paycheck, but being at work during the hours when most flippers are stripping the local WMs of ammo kinda stinks...
