Walmart ammo availability thread - Post what you see available & where!

They had two cans of the 420rd this evening. They were holding them for a buddy. Dude showed up while I was there.

i would have called over a manager, that just isn't right if the employee wanted to hold them he should have bought them himself and kept em in his car till his buddy got there

I spoke to a manager this morning and I was told that they shouldn't hold stuff because they will be fired on the spot if they are caught. They can only buy stuff once they are off the clock. We need to start calling for a manager!

Why didnt he call managers? They have cameras showing him wanting to buy but refused by the Walmart employee... Simple instant fire!

Because I dont want to get someone fired.

I do want to say that the kid at the counter was very honest. He was unloading ammo and stocking sporting goods in general. when i asked him to scan the tag, he did and said they have two cans in stock. He went out of his way to find them. He went in the back 2-3 times as they were unloading the truck. the last time he came back, he said he was sorry he couldn't explain what happened. it was then that another guy who just walked up (looked like maybe auto tech employee) said the two cans were his, xxxx was holding them for him and that's why he couldnt find them. employee kid gave me a look like he knew it was ****ed up. i thanked him for trying and left. i have too many problems of my own to start **** at walmart.

I just want people to know that the inventory tracking is accurate. if an employee blows you off, they are hiding something.

The inventory in stock option is kind of slow. I think its like 4-8 hours slow. I've seen 4 stores have it. I called all 4 and all of them say they just sold out of it couple hours ago. 5 out of 10 times, its accurate so it don't hurt to call and ask. Yeah you're right, sometimes they could lie just so other people can get them because most people won't drive to find out its sold out.

Kennesaw Chastain meadows Walmart is stocking right now. Lots of .45 and 38 special WWB and federal FMJ. One box of 9mm defense bullets.

Might have been some 380 WWB but I could me mistaken.

What is the link to the Wal Mart online inventory? Wal Mart On Chastain Meadows has WWB 45 ammo in 50 and 100 count boxes. Wal Mart in McDonough has 45 WWB in stock. Sucks that I live too far away from both.
