Walmart on Ashford Dunwoody Road in Dunwoody

what killed the Walmart in Dumbwoody?

Loss from theft, the self checkout debacle, the stores are dirty and poorly organized, no customer service, you can buy the same low quality Chinese crap online for less, and Bidenomics at work.
Like Sears, Kmart and many other big box retailers Walmart had a good run and now it's time to fade away.

Just stopped by and picked up some stuff at half off. Most ammo is gone but was able to score the cleaning supplies at a great price. They still have some Rem oil, gun cleaning kits, patches among other stuff for those out there so inclined. Also a decent amount of knives left.

The Walmart in Marietta is also closing and 50% off. Maybe you can find some dust bunnies on the shelf for sale.

I believe the Marietta one is closing soon
The one across from the Big Chicken or the one further south, N. of Terrell Mill RD? And actually the one on Chastain Meadows by Town Center mall has a Marietta address.

I have a quirk, I remember numbers and what I paid for things years later, and the cheap uncoated white paper plates cost 1 penny each ($1 pack of 100) for years before Covid hit in year 2000. Those same plates on the same shelf at the same Elberton Walmart are now $5.49 per same pack of 100.. that's a 550% price increase. I have many examples but this one really jumped out to me.
Funny, I was thinking something similar. At first I was thinking about what a great deal 50% off is, but then it occurred to me that what I was actually paying was really just closer to 2019 prices. 🤣.
