run into man at the pawn shop trying to sell his Colt 6920 Magpul special. He wanted $700 for it and the guy at the pawn shop lowball him for $500. The guy almost sold it to him, but at the last minute he back out and walk out. I was going to jump on it if the deal when thru. I didn't need it as I have few ARs. But keep looking you will find a deal.

You don't have to spend a ton of money to get something that goes bang reliably... You can pick up a new Ruger or S&W basic AR for 500 clams, give or take. The notion that you can only trust your life to a $1000+ firearm is silly and unfounded...

I have owned dozens of AR's over the years, from basic to more expensive, and built up several myself, and I never had an issue with any of them except 1...

Back in 1999 I have an Olympic Arms fixed carry handle model that after a ton of rounds, the trigger got worn and had to be replaced because it started going into full auto bursts...
